More than just automatic doors

A business’s entry door acts as a first impression on customers. Not only that, but since it’s responsible for your business’s traffic, it should be convenient and easy to use - Safe, Secure & Reliable. Automatic doors are a perfect solution for businesses that want to look great and provide easy safe access for customers and employees alike.

Is your business entrance currently fitted with manually operated doors?  If so, have you considered replacing them with automatic doors?  Automatic doors provide a wide range of benefits for your business premises. With automatic entrances, you’ll increase sales, boost profits, and make a valuable investment in your building.

When it comes to servicing your automatic door, think of it just like a car. It has a motor, electronics and moving parts which need to be maintained regularly. The relevant NZS4239 Standard advises that trained Technicians should service automatic doors regularly to ensure that they are functioning at the correct level and all safety systems on the doors are operating correctly. Current regulations require employers to safeguard workers and visitors against injury by ensuring that automatic doors are fit for purpose.

To fulfil their purpose, door closers need to be maintained and even replaced after several years. Different factors can lead to the need for door closer maintenance and repair. Before installation, your door needs to be operating perfectly. There’s no sense to adding a door closer to a door that doesn’t close properly. Preparation includes lubricating hinges, tightening hinge screws, and fitting the door to the door frame.

When making the important decision to invest in a new commercial automatic door, it’s also important to ensure your investment is protected by a dedicated preventative automatic door maintenance agreement, along with reactive servicing support, throughout the lifetime of the product.
