Automatic Door Building Warrant of Fitness (BWoF)
and Form 12A Certification

If you own a building with specified systems like automatic doors, you must renew its BWoF every 12 months.

To meet BWoF requirements, a building’s specified systems need to be inspected and maintained by an independent qualified person (IQP). Autotech Doors are certified to carry out this check that the specified automatic doors have been maintained for a period of 12 months.

This includes:
  1. Inspection of specified systems
  2. Keeping you compliance schedule up-to-date
  3. Completion of BWoF and Form 12A annually
When do I need an Independent Qualified Person (IQP)?

If your building has a compliance schedule, you will need an Independent Qualified Person (IQP) to carry out or supervise inspections, maintenance and reporting procedures on each specified system, and provide a Form 12A annually.
